Voki and Prezi

Voki instructions
- Click the ‘Create’ tab on the top (not the black one on the side).
- In this panel, select your Voki character. You will be able to choose various options. Play around a bit.
- When you are satisfied with the creation, click ‘publish’ at the bottom.
- Close the white pop up window (you can create an account later if you like)
- You will see two tabs – ADD TO YOUR SITE and SEND TO A FRIEND… choose ADD TO YOUR SITE.
- Look down and you will see EMBED CODE. Click the COPY button.
- Now, go to your website, at the very top you will see the tab PAGES. Click on that, then click ADD A PAGE, give that new page a name (remember, it doesn’t matter, you can change it later).
- Click SAVE SETTINGS then go to the top right corner and click PUBLISH.
- Go to your new page. At the top click and drag CUSTOM HTML down onto the page. When it settles, erase the text in the box, and paste the html code from your voki.
- When it settles in, click publish, open a new tab and put in your website address to see your site in action!

Prezi

Prezi is an online presentation tool similar to Power Point, but how it functions is different.
The program allows you to have a lot of control over how the Prezi works, flows and you can incorporate a variety of media in the Prezi to illustrate your point.
When you're ready, click on the Prezi icon to the left.
(You will have to create an account for this one. If you use your VSB/District email, you can sign up for an educational license and get greater benefits than just a free account)
