Creating your own website

Now we will go to Education Weebly to create our free website.
Click on the link to the left and follow the instructions
There are other web building sites available, and many of them are free, but I choose this one because it is easy to navigate, create, and edit. It also allows you two free websites. Of course you can pay to upgrade, but it is not necessary. As well, you can have up to 40 students under your teacher account. Another great element in Weebly is that you can password protect your pages. That means that you can post pictures and work of students safely. Pages must have a password to access them.
After we are done this, let's take about 15 minutes to prepare our first page. Editing is very easy. If you make a mistake, no worries! Just ask for help.
One suggestion: if you are creating something that requires a lot of text, do so on a document so if something funky happens you can simply cut and paste.
Here is a video to help you with Weebly if you get stuck.
